Officers in plainclothes conducted a shoplifting operation targeting retail thefts. Officers observed a suspect walking quickly into the store, taking two items, and walking out. The suspect was detained outside the store. A computer check revealed the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested for shoplifting and the warrant.
