Warrant Arrest-Arrested

Officers stopped a vehicle with an expired registration tab. A passenger told the officers he was on probation. A record check revealed the passnger had an arrest warrant. The passenger was arrested for the warrant.

Death Report

200 Kensington Way
Officers responded to a report of a death. The reportee said his father died in his sleep. The deceased was bed-ridden for the past several weeks. The medical examiner responded and there was no obvious sign of foul play.

Driving with expired Registration-Suspended License-No Insurance-Cited

19th Ave and Sloat Blvd
Officers stopped a vehicle with an expired registration tab. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver also could not show proof of liability insurance. The driver was cited for the above offenses.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim and the suspect were playing a game of pool. The suspect was upset when the victim won. The suspect hit the victim in the face and fled.
Suspect: White Male, 5’11, between ages 25 and 30, 180 lbs, with short black hair. LSW: Short black tee shirt and black pants

Fraudulent use of an ATM Card

1600 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fraudulent use of an ATM card. The victim was using an ATM machine when Suspect 1 came up behind him and asked if the victim finished using the ATM. The victim replied yes. Minutes later the victim received a phone call that said someone was trying to make a withdraw from his account. The victim drove back to the ATM’s location. He saw Suspect 1 talking to Suspects 2 and 3 in a vehicle.
Suspect #1: African American Male, 5’11, between ages 27 and 28, 150 lbs, long black dread locks. Had a tear drop tattoo beneath right eye. LSW: gray shirt and black pants

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. The victim was notified by his bank of unusual purchases on his account. The victim checked the record of purchases and did not recall buying them.

Officers saw a man laying down on a sidewalk at a bus stop. He was also in the way of people who were waiting for a bus. Officers detained the man for the above violations. A record check revealed he had multiple arrest warrants. The man was arrested for the warrants.

Officers were flagged down by a victim of a theft. The victim was at a library. She put her purse under her chair. When she went to retrieve it, she saw her wallet was missing. Later the victim found out there were unauthorized charges on her credit card.

Officers responded to a report of a fight. Two women accused a man of causing a dispute. The man banged on their door demanding the women move their vehicle out of his driveway. The women accused the man of damaging the door and shattering a mirror. One of the women went outside with the intent to move the vehicle. However she got into a fight with the man. She then placed the man under citizen’s arrest for vandalism and battery. The man in turn placed the woman under citizen’s arrest for battery. The officers cited and released them at the scene.

Officers responded to a report of a home burglary. The victim found his front gate opened and his security cameras broken. Multiple belongings were missing from his home.

Officers responded to a report of a home burglary. The victim had lost or had her keys stolen while riding public transit. While she was at a hospital for a period of time, an unknown suspect burglarized her home. When the victim returned, she saw her home was ransacked. Officers determined the unknown suspect gained entry through the front door.

Officers stopped a vehicle that did not stop at a posted stop sign. A record check revealed the driver had an arrest warrant. The driver was arrested for the warrant and the car was towed.

Officers responded to a report of a theft at a business. The victim said an employee from a cable company may have stolen his personal belongings. The victim had left his belongings near where the cable company employee was working. When the victim returned, he saw his belongings were missing. The victim then found out unauthorized purchases were made with his card.
Suspect: Asian, male, about 5’9”, about 180 lbs., between the ages of 25-35, with black hair and brown eyes

An officer stopped a vehicle that was double parked. The officer saw an opened alcoholic beverage in plain sight in the vehicle. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was cited for double parking, having an open alcoholic beverage in plain sight, and driving with a suspended license

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The victim was hosting a garage sale when an unknown suspect stole one of his personal belongings. The victim had photos of the suspect that he gave to the officers.

A man walked-up to an officer and claimed he was a victim of a theft. His belongings were left on the second floor at work. Only employees had access to the area. When the victim returned to the second floor, he noticed his belongings were missing.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a vandalism to his vehicle. The man left his parked car unattended. When he returned, he noticed scratches on the vehicle. The victim did not know who could’ve vandalized his car.

Officers responded to a report of a fraud at a bank. A man tried to cash a fraudulent check. When the bank teller attempted to authenticate the check, the man left and drove away.
Suspect: African American, male, about 6’3”, about 160 lbs., age of 59, with black hair and brown eyes. LSW: Black baseball cap, plaid shirt, black vest, and black pants

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim had approached the suspect to say “hi,” and upon doing so the suspect punched the victim in the face. The victim called police and requested medical help. The victim refused to press charges against the suspect. The victim was medically treated.

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim was hit in her face with a thrown egg from a passing car. The victim refused medical attention. Since the incident happened so quickly, she did not see the suspect.

Dog Bite

Taraval St and 38th Ave
A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a dog bite. The victim was walking her dog in the morning when a suspect shouted “pick up your dog” at her. The victim saw the suspect’s dog running to her and her dog. The victim picked up her dog, but was knocked to the ground when the suspect’s dog bit her dog. The suspect told the victim she did not have any money. The suspect did not give any other information.
Suspect #1: Hispanic Female, 5’4, between ages 28 and 29, 130 lbs, with long wavy dyed red hair with blonde highlights
Suspect #2: Hispanic Male, 6’0, between ages 30 and 35, 180 lbs, brown hair LSW: Green shorts

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim left his home locked and secured. Upon return he found it ransacked and noticed multiple items missing. Officers saw pry marks on the sliding slide door and determined it to be the point of entry.

Officer responded to a report of a hit and run. The victim had parked his undamaged motor home and left it unattended. When he returned the front windshield was cracked. The victim believed an unknown suspect threw a rock at the windshield.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Two suspects approached a victim. Suspect 1 pulled out a knife while suspect 2 grabbed the victim’s bicycle out of the victim’s grip.

Robbery with Weapon

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Two victims who were together were robbed by two suspects. Suspect 1 approached one victim and sprayed the victim’s face with a chemical irritant. Suspect 2 grabbed the other victim’s bag and fled with Suspect 1 on foot.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim invited friends to her home. One of the friends brought an acquaintance whom the victim did not know. The acquaintance became hostile and attacked the victim. The victim however refused to press charges against the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim left his home locked and secured. Upon return he noticed the door unlocked and multiple items missing from the house. Officers determined the point of entry was an unlocked rear metal gate.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. The sales clerk said two suspects walked in, concealed multiple merchandise items, and fled the store without paying.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Three suspects approached the victims. One of the suspects told the victims he had a weapon. The victims feared for their lives and surrendered their personal belongings. The suspects then took the items and fled.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim had noticed her garage door was slightly opened. Upon closer look, the victim realized her personal belongings were missing. Officers did not find a point of entry by the unknown suspect.

An officer responded to a report of a shoplifting. An employee had seen a suspect take multiple merchandise items and exit without paying for them. A review of the recorded surveillance footage confirmed the shoplifting.
Suspect: White, female, about 5’3”, about 115 lbs., between the ages of 20-25, with brown hair. LSW: Blue sweatshirt with graphic on front, black pants, and a black bag

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. The man was trying on clothes in a dressing room at an apparel store. His cell phone fell out of his pocket and onto the floor of the dressing room. The man forgot about his phone and walked out of the dressing room. He then returned to retrieve his phone and saw it was no longer on the floor.

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism. When the victim returned home, he saw the lock to the front gate was damaged. The victim believed his brother was the suspect because he was denied access to the victim’s house.
