Officers responded to a report of a fight between a customer and an employee at a restaurant. The customer said the employee assaulted him because he spilled sauce. The restaurant employee said the customer deliberately spilled sauce on a table. The employee asked the customer why he poured the sauce, the customer replied with racial slurs and attacked the employee. A witness confirmed what the employee said. The employee refused to make a citizen’s arrest.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim was inside her home when she heard a loud noise. She then saw a suspect peer inside through a window. The suspect immediately fled when he realized the house was occupied. The victim noticed damage to their property. Crime Scene Investigators were notified to respond.
Suspect: African American male, age 30 – 25, 5’10. LSW: Black T-Shirt with white writing, possibly blue jeans.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. An employee saw a man conceal multiple wine bottles and exit without paying. The employee confronted the shoplifter in an attempt to detain him. The suspect resisted and tried to flee. However he was detained and a citizen’s arrest was made against him. The officers took custody of the suspect. A record check revealed he had multiple arrest warrants. The suspect was arrested for shoplifting and for the warrants.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. A suspect robbed a woman’s purse while they were in a bathroom at a store. The store employees took the suspect into custody. The suspect was arrested for the above charge.

Officers responded to a report of a fraud. The victim received a phone call from an unknown person who said the victim’s granddaughter was arrested and she needed money to make bail. The victim went to a store to buy MoneyPak cards. A store employee warned the victim that she may be a victim of a scam. The victim called her granddaughter and found out she was not arrested at all.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. Store employees saw a suspect take multiple merchandise items and attempt to flee without paying. The employees detained the suspect and placed him under citizen’s arrest. A record check revealed the suspect had an arrest warrant. Officers took custody of the suspect for shoplifting and for the arrest warrant.

An officer stopped a vehicle for traveling with a missing gas cap and for broken tail lights. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was cited and released for the above charges.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim left his shared garage locked and secured. Upon return, he noticed multiple belongings missing from the shared garage. The only other people who had access were his neighbors. The garage door appeared to be the point of entry and exit.

Officers responded to a report of a fire. Firefighters were already on scene of a portable toilet on fire. The firefighters said it was a stand-alone fire and no other property was damaged. The owner of the portable toilet was notified.

An officer was flagged down by a victim who reported a theft and false personation. The victim was notified by her bank that fraudulent charges were made on her credit card.

A man and a woman walked into Taraval station to report a verbal threat. The man disputed with an another woman about a property that they purchased together. The other woman threatened the man and the woman if their dispute was not resolved to the other woman’s satisfaction.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. While at home a victim heard a suspicious noise from outside and peered out the window to check. He saw an unknown person walking away from his property. The victim then went to his garage and noticed his belongings were moved. Additionally he did not know if any of his belonging was stolen. The victim’s and his neighbor’s home have been burglarized in the past.
Suspect: About 5’10”, about 160 lbs. LSW: A dark blue hoodie with the hood up, dark blue pants, and was seen carrying a small metal dolly under their right arm

An officer responded to a report of a burglary. A man confronted an another man whom he did not recognize inside a shared garage. The man immediately fled on a bicycle. No property appeared to be missing or taken.
Suspect: White, male, between the ages of 24-26, about 5’9”, about 165 lbs., with red hair. LSW: Hair to the neckline length, unshaven face, gray beanie, khaki pants, black backpack, and riding on a black bike

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The victims had left their vehicle unlocked and parked outside. The victims noticed their car was ransacked and items missing such as the garage door opener. They checked the garage and saw that it was opened. Numerous items were also missing from inside the garage.

Officers responded to a report of a fight. Two men were physically fighting over a parking space at a church. They each made a citizen’s arrest on each other for battery. Officers cited and released the men at the scene.

Officers responded to a report of a burglar at a scene. The victim was sleeping when three suspects broke into the house. The victim immediately called 911. Additionally the home alarm activated. A witness went outside and saw the suspects in a white van. The witness approached the suspects and asked what happened. They repeatedly replied “Nothing” and fled.

He did not however see anyone steal the child’s belongings. The officer determined an unknown suspect gained entry through the garage door.

A man walked into Taraval station to report a theft. The man received phone calls from people claiming to be from a federal immigration agency. They asked the man to pay certain fees related to immigration paperwork and the man complied. The same people called again and demanded more fees be paid. The man became suspicious and contacted the US Federal Trade Commission. The Commission advised him to notify the local police.
