Captain’s News – December 2014

wet_leavesSFPD Toy Drive
For the past 17 years, the members of Operation Dream and the SFPD have conducted a Christmas toy drive for the children of San Francisco. Included in this toy drive are the children of public housing, low income neighborhoods, children in hospitals, and families in need. Last year, members collected and distributed over 20,000 toys to the children of San Francisco. For many of these children, this will be the only Christmas gift they receive. Please help by donating a toy. You can drop off a toy at the front desk at Taraval Station. These toys will be distributed throughout the City, but many will be given to the children that reside in the Taraval Police District. Taraval Officers and members of the community will be distributing toys at the annual give-away.
