Robbery with Force

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Two suspects approached a victim who was walking on a sidewalk. The suspects then chased and assaulted the victim before stealing the victim’s belongings. The suspects got into a getaway vehicle and fled.
Suspect #1: Hispanic, male, about 5’9”, about 195 lbs., between the ages of 35-40, with brown hair and brown eyes. LSW: Red shirt, short hair, and a stalky build
Suspect #2: Hispanic, male, about 5’9”, about 200 lbs., between the ages of 35-40, with brown hair and brown eyes. LSW: White shirt, having a bald or shaved head, jeans, and a stalky build

Dog Bite

46th Ave and Quintara St
Officers responded to a report of a dog bite. An unleashed dog bit a woman. The woman was standing on a street corner when the dog ran up and bit her. The dog had ran out of a house when its owner opened the door. The woman was treated for her injury.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a supermarket. Officers saw wet shoe prints that were possibly left by a suspect. A recorded surveillance footage confirmed the burglary occurred. Crime Scene Investigators were notified to respond.
Suspect #1: LSW: Dark hoodie and light pants.
Suspect #2: LSW: Dark hoodie, light pants and light shoes.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A victim left his backpack momentarily unattended on the floor of clothing store while shopping. A suspect who was accompanied by two people surreptitiously took the victim’s backpack. The victim confronted the suspect who denied taking his backpack. The suspect then threatened the victim with harm. The suspect and the two people accompanying her fled in a getaway car.
Suspect #1: African American, female, about 5’7”, about 130 lbs., between 25-38 years of age, with black hair and brown eyes. LSW: Pink sweater, shoulder length hair, and thin build
Suspect #2: African American, female, about 5’5”, about 190 lbs., between 35-40 years of age, with black hair and brown eyes. LSW: Gray sweater, heavy build, and hair was in a pony tail

Theft

An officer responded to a report of a theft. A man was inside a store for a prolonged period of time. He asked an employee questions and then stole a merchandise item. The suspect fled the store with the item.
Suspect: African American, male, about 5’11”, about 160 lbs., between the ages of 25-30, with black hair, and brown eyes. LSW: Dark blue hoodie and dark pants.

Malicious Mischief-Vandalism to Vehicle-Verbal Threats

Officers responded to a report of an argument. A victim was backing out of his driveway when he noticed a man on his lawn. The victim told him to leave. The man then ran to his home. The victim followed him and the man retaliated by damaging the victim’s vehicle with an object. The victim feared for his safety and called police.
Suspect: White, male, about 6’1”, about 170 lbs., aged 36, with brown hair, and green eyes. LSW: Tan button-up shirt and khaki pants

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. The victim was notified by her bank regarding unauthorized purchases. An unknown suspect used her credit card to make purchases without her permission.

THURSDAY – DECEMBER 4, 2014

An officer responded to a report of an assault. An employee was escorting a suspected shoplifter outside when the suspect grabbed a basket and threw it at the employee’s face. The officer searched the area but did not find the suspect.
Suspect: Hispanic, male. LSW: Colored hat, multiple layers of clothing, and a Nike duffle bag

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim left his home unsecured momentarily. He had left the garage door open. Upon return he saw a personal belonging missing.

Officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary. A victim saw the lock to his front gate damaged. Additionally the gate was wide open. However there was no indication of an entry into the victim’s home nor was any belonging stolen.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. A suspect was recorded on a surveillance video stealing a delivered and unattended package from the victim’s front door.

Death Report

Officers responded to a report of a death. A caregiver and the son of the dead woman said the deceased was on medication and her death was expected. The medical examiner took custody of the deceased.

Officers stopped a vehicle with an expired registration tab. A record check revealed the driver’s license expired. Officers arrested and released the driver for the above violations.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim found the front door to his home opened and damaged. The home was under construction. An unknown suspect had stolen several personal belongings.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Two roommates had momentarily left their respective rooms unattended. Upon return, they found the rooms ransacked and belongings missing. Windows to the home were left unlocked and therefore could have been the point of entry.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A store employee saw a suspect conceal a merchandise item in a bag. The suspect exited the store without paying. The employee detained the suspect and placed her under citizen’s arrest. Officers took custody of the suspect. A record check revealed the suspect had arrest warrants. Officers arrested the suspect for theft and the warrants.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. Her bank told her suspicious purchases were made under her account. She did not give anyone permission to make the purchases.

Attempted Robbery with Force

Officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery. A suspect followed a victim closely from behind. The suspect confronted the victim. The victim then ran-away in fear. Two other victims approached the officers and said the same suspect tried to rob them. Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim left his home secured. Upon return he saw it was ransacked. The back door was damaged and opened. Multiple belongings were missing from the home.

A man walked into the Taraval station to report fraud. The man stated that an unknown suspect had opened credit card accounts in his name, as he was receiving bills from numerous accounts. The victim stated that he did not give permission to anyone to open his accounts.

A man walked into the Taraval station to report fraud. The man stated that an unknown suspect had opened a credit card account in his name. The victim stated that the company was trying to collect an unpaid sum and contacted him.

A woman walked into the Taraval station to report fraud. The woman stated that an unknown suspect had used her credit card information to make purchases. She stated that she had all of her credit cards in her possession and that the illegal purchase was in Canada.

SUNDAY – DECEMBER 7, 2014

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Upon returning from vacation, a victim found his personal belongings moved. Additionally some of them were missing. The victim’s cat sitter informed him that one of his personal belongings was left outside and therefore she moved it back into the house. Further investigation revealed an unknown suspect gained entry through a basement window.

Officers responded to a report of a verbal threat. A reportee saw an acquaintance whom she did get along inside a store. The acquaintance was alleged to have made verbal threats against the reportee. A store employee corroborated what the acquaintance said. A record check of the reportee and the acquaintance revealed they had traffic arrest warrants. Officers arrested them for the warrants.

An officer responded to a report of a theft. A store supervisor saw three suspects steal merchandise items and flee.

Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary. A man walked-up to a woman as she was opening her store. The woman feared for her safety and walked away to her vehicle. The man tried to open the door to the store but walked away when he could not open it. Officers detained the man. The man provided a false identity to the officers. The officers cited and released the man for providing false identification.

Officers stopped a vehicle for not stopping at a stop sign. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license. Additionally the vehicle did not have a working license plate light. The driver was arrested and released for the above violations.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A store employee saw an intoxicated suspect walk out with an unpaid merchandise item. The suspect also had a opened container of alcohol. Officers stopped the suspect. The suspect was cited for having an open alcoholic beverage in public. Medics transported the suspect to a hospital for severe intoxication.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A store employee saw a suspect conceal a merchandise item under other merchandise. The suspect paid for the merchandise but did not pay for the concealed merchandise item. The employee confronted the suspect outside the store and placed the suspect under citizen’s arrest. The officers arrested and released the suspect for shoplifting.

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism. A man walked up to a victim’s home and smashed personal belongings that were out in front. The suspect then yelled something and fled.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. She received a phone call from her credit card company about suspicious activities. Numerous unauthorized charges had been made on her account.

Aggravated Assault with Weapon-Battery-Verbal Threats

Officers responded to a report of an assault. A victim received a phone call from an acquaintance to meet him outside. The acquaintance and two other individuals approached the victim. The acquaintance pointed a gun at the victim and threatened him over a dispute regarding a business arrangement. One of the individuals who accompanied the suspect punched the victim several times. The suspects then fled in a getaway vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. A victim got into an argument with an acquaintance. The acquaintance hit him in the face that resulted in damaging the victim’s glasses. Officers searched the area and did not find the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim received a call from her alarm company about an alarm activation at her home. Officers checked her home and did not find any suspect. The victim did not find anything stolen. However the lock to the front door appeared damaged.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim returned home to find his front door open. Many items appeared to have been moved inside. However the victim did not know if anything was stolen.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim found his home ransacked and a rear window broken. A neighbor noticed a suspicious person leaving the burglarized home and therefore got a description of the possible suspect. Crime scene investigators were notified to respond.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A store employee saw a suspect take a merchandise item, conceal it, and exit without paying. The employee stopped the suspect and placed him under citizen’s arrest. A record check by the responding officers revealed the suspect had an arrest warrant. Officers arrested the suspect for the warrant and the theft.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. The man parked and left his vehicle unattended. Upon return, his vehicle appeared damaged and to have missing parts.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. Two female suspects approached a victim. One suspect claimed she found a wallet full of money and that they should split it three ways. The other suspect suggested they should get paperwork for tax purposes. The victim and the suspects drove to a parking lot near a service store to obtain the suggested paperwork. The victim and one suspect gave the third suspect cash to pay for the paperwork. The victim stepped-out of the vehicle. When she returned, the suspects fled with along with her cash.
Suspect #1: African American, female, about 5’4”, about 200 lbs. LSW: Gray top, dark colored pants, and a gray scarf.
Suspect #2: African American, female, about 5’3”, about 180 lbs. LSW: All dark clothing.
