On Tuesday, December 16, 2014, Taraval officers helped collect toys for the second time on Irving Street with the help of Mr. Bill Barnickel of the Outer Sunset Merchants and Professionals Association! Officers McLaughlin, Marchand, and Ha joined Mr. Barnickel on Irving Street to thank the generous merchants who insisted on collecting more toys so that as many children as possible receive gifts for the Holidays.
The collected toys were immediately taken by the officers to the Minnie and Lovie Recreation Center. The Recreation Center staff thanked the officers for delivering the collected toys. The staff ensured the officers that the gifts will find themselves in the hands of every child whom the staff can help. Taraval officers are deeply humbled by the generosity of our community members!
