Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A downstairs tenant heard noises coming from upstairs but did not realize a burglary occurred. A witness saw two suspects exit the home and flee in a getaway car. The residents found their home ransacked and belongings missing.
Suspect #1: African American, male. LSW: Grey Hoodie.
Suspect #2: African American, male. LSW: Grey Hoodie.

Suspect Vehicle: Gray

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim found her front gate and door damaged and opened. Her home was ransacked and belongings were missing. The point-of-entry was the front door. A witness gave descriptions of possible suspects.
Suspect #1: White, male (driver of vehicle).
Suspect #2: African American, male, about 5’10”, about 180 lbs., between the ages of 30-35, with black hair. LSW: Long sleeve tan shirt, blue jeans, and a short haircut.
Suspect Vehicle: Black, four door.

An officer responded to a report of a burglary. The victims found their front gate and door opened and damaged. Their home was ransacked and belongings were missing. Crime Scene Investigators were notified to respond.nce and notified CSI for further investigation.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Officers stopped a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect’s getaway car. A record check of the driver revealed she had warrants for her arrest. The driver was arrested for the warrants.

Offices responded to a report of a theft. A suspect stole a delivered package that was left unattended from the victim’s porch. The theft was caught on surveillance video.
Suspect: White, male, about 5’11”, about 170 lbs., between the ages of 35-45, with blond hair. LSW: Black sweatshirt and grey pants.

Offices responded to a report of a theft at a store. A surveillance video footage showed two suspects take merchandise items and exit without paying.
Suspect #1: African American, male.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A man had a female over at his friend’s home. He had met her over the internet. The man decided to take a shower. He left the door to the bathroom open while in the shower so that he can keep his eyes on her. The woman suddenly left. The man’s friend found that her personal belongings were missing from her home.
Suspect: African American, female, about 5’4”, about 160 lbs., between the ages of 20-25, with black hair and brown eyes. LSW: Blue sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, brown flip flops, with shoulder length hair.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. An unknown suspect ordered a credit card using the victim’s identity. The suspect then used it to make numerous purchases.

Officers responded to a report of a death. The daughter of the deceased said her father was recently placed in hospice care. There were no signs of foul play in his death. Paramedics and the medical examiner were on scene.

THURSDAY – JANUARY 8, 2015

Robbery with Weapon

Alemany Blvd and Crystal St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. A victim returned to his car to find a suspect taking belongings through the driver side window. The suspect approached the victim with a weapon. The victim said to the suspect that he did not have anything on him. The suspect then fled.
Suspect: Hispanic, male, about 5’7”, about 260 lbs., between the ages of 25-35. LSW: Dark jacket and a cut lip.

Officers responded to a report of a fight. Medics were treating a man at the scene. There were witnesses also at the scene. An another man who matched the description of the aggressor was detained. However the injured man and the witnesses gave conflicting accounts about the identity of the aggressor. A record check of the aggressor revealed he had an arrest warrant. The man was arrested for the warrant.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. A man was washing his car when an another man walked-up from behind and a fight ensued. The other man claimed the runoff from the washing of the car was poisoning his drinking water. Neither man wanted to make a citizen’s arrest on the other.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. While the officers were interviewing a victim, an officer saw the suspect walk nearby. The victim confirmed the suspect’s identity. As a result officers detained the suspect. The suspect was positively identified as the burglar by the victim and by a surveillance video footage of the crime. He was arrested for burglary.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. A victim’s personal belonging was missing from a shared garage. One of the other tenants may have left the garage door opened and unattended. An unknown suspect may have entered through the open garage.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. The woman sent money through Western Union wire service to a place where she was going to visit. She dialed a phone number that she believed was to the place she planned to visit. The person who answered the phone told the victim that no such place existed.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. An unknown suspect used the woman’s bank account to make unauthorized purchases.

Officers responded to a non-injury traffic accident. A record check of one of the drivers revealed his license was suspended. The driver could not provide proof of liability insurance. The driver was arrested and released for the above violations.

An officer responded to a report of a battery. A store employee saw a known shoplifter inside the store. She asked him to leave. The known shoplifter pushed her aside and exited without stealing anything.
Suspect: Male, between the ages of 20-30, with brown hair. LSW: Brown curly hair, black jacket with brown fur lined hood, and a maroon t-shirt, black jeans. Possibly transgender.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. An unknown suspect stole personal belongings from inside the home without being detected by its occupants. Officers believed the suspect gained entry through the back door.

An officer stopped a known man who had an arrest warrant. The officer confirmed the warrant and arrested him.

An officer responded to a report of a theft at a store. An employee saw the shoplifter flee into a nearby laundromat. The officer found and detained the suspect. The shoplifter was positively identified as the suspect. The suspect was arrested and released for the theft.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. An unknown suspect gained entry to a victim’s garage and stole his belongings. The lock to the garage was very old and could have been defeated without damaging it.

Officers responded to a report of theft at a store. One of two suspects grabbed numerous merchandise items and quickly fled with the other suspect without paying.
Suspect #1: African American, female, about 5’2”, about 115 lbs., between the ages of 18-22, with black hair. LSW: White shirt, light colored skinny jeans, and shoulder length hair.
Suspect #2: African American, female, about 5’5”, about 120 lbs., between the ages of 18-22, with black hair. LSW: Head wrap, north face style jacket, with a light skin complexion.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The victim had momentarily left his personal belongings unattended while visiting the home of the mother of his children. Upon return, the belongings were missing. The mother of his children had numerous roommates whom had access to his belongings.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. The woman received a credit card in the mail that she did not apply for. She checked her credit report and found numerous credit cards under her first name and variations on her last name. Her birthdays were similarly listed as well. She did not give anyone permission to open the credit cards.

A man walked into the Taraval station to report a fraud. The man checked his wife’s credit report and saw an unfamiliar credit card under her name. The wife claimed she did not have that credit card and it was opened without her permission. An unknown suspect used the wife’s identity to open the account.

Officers responded to a report of a death. The deceased had complained to her family that she did not feel well after eating something. When they checked on her, she was unresponsive and cold to the touch. A medical examiner responded and took over the investigation.

Officers responded to a report of a body floating in a lake. A person paddling in a kayak discovered the corpse. Firefighters retrieved the body from the lake. The medical examiner said there was no obvious sign of a foul play at the time.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a gun. A victim waited at a MUNI stop for a light rail train. A man approached her from across the street and demanded she surrender her belongings. The man brandished a gun. The victim complied and the suspect fled with her money.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. A dispute occurred between a victim and a suspect at a parking lot. The victim was sitting in his parked car when the suspect-who was behind the wheel of a car parked next to the victim, pulled-away and hit the victim’s car. The victim confronted the suspect and a fight occurred. The suspect fled in his vehicle. Witnesses confirmed the victim’s account of what happened.
Suspect: Hispanic, male, about 5’10”, about 170 lbs., between the ages of 25-35. LSW: White t-shirt, red vest, and denim jeans.
