Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim heard noises coming from the foyer and went to investigate. A suspect was seen stealing a personal belonging before fleeing. The victim had locked the front gate earlier.
Suspect: Male; 5’6” tall; 190 lbs; LSW: Light grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood over the head, blue jeans.

Mental Health Detention

Officers responded to a report of a mentally unstable paranoid person threatening others. The person was determined to be a danger to others and was sent to a psychiatric care center.

Possession of Controlled Substance-Weapon Possession on School Grounds

School Resource Officers responded to a report of a possession of controlled substance and possession of a knife on school grounds. School officials had a student in custody for possession of unlawful items.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. He checked his credit card record and saw an unauthorized purchase. He gave no one permission to his identity or credit card.

Theft

2400 39th Ave
A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. An unknown suspect stole a delivered merchandise that was left unattended from the victim’s doorstep.

200 West Portal Ave
An officer responded to a report of a shoplifting. A store manager saw two suspects enter. One suspect took a merchandise item and joined the other suspect in fleeing.
Suspect #1: Black male; 5’10” tall; 200 lbs; 30-35 years old; black hair. LSW: Black zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans.
Suspect #2: Black female; 5’4” tall; 150 lbs; 25-35 years old; black hair.

Counterfeit Money

200 Thrift St
A woman walked into Taraval Station to report receiving counterfeit money. She delivered food to an address and the recipient gave her money that she believed was counterfeit. When she tried to contact the recipient, he did not answer.

700 Taraval St
Officers stopped a man for walking unlawfully in the middle of a roadway. He was also a known theft suspect who was reported earlier of having shoplifted. The suspect tried to evade detention. He then became combative, threatening to shoot the officers, and spitting at the officers. The suspect was arrested for the above offenses.

A victim reported his living room window was damaged by a thrown, unknown object. There was a party across the street.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. The woman left her personal belongings unattended momentarily at a public park. Upon return, her belongings were missing.

Malicious Mischief

Officers responded to a report of a vehicular vandalism. The victim returned to his parked and unattended vehicle to find its tires slashed. The victim believed the suspects were friends of his sister-in-law’s. The victim and the sister-in-law’s friends had gone into an argument earlier.
Suspect #1: Black male; 6’5” tall; 200 lbs; 20-21 years-old; red hair; brown eyes.
Suspect #2: White male; 5’6” tall; 170 lbs; 25-30 years-old; black hair; brown eyes.
