A woman walked into Taraval station to report a theft. A private contractor tried to deposit a customer’s check when it was revealed to be fraudulent.

Mental Health Detention

Officers responded to a report of a mentally unstable and suicidal person. Officers determined the person was a danger to oneself. The person was transported to a psychiatric care center.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. An employee saw four suspects take numerous merchandise items and flee without paying for them.

Burglary

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Victims left their home locked and secured. Upon return they saw the front door was forced open and their home ransacked. Numerous belongings were missing.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a vehicular vandalism. She returned to her parked and unattended vehicle to find its windows damaged.

Theft-Arrest

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. Store employees saw a shoplifter take a merchandise and exit without paying. They took the fleeing suspect into custody and placed the suspect under citizen’s arrest for theft. Officers took custody of the arrested suspect.

Dog Bite

300 Howth St
Officers responded to a report of a dog bite. A dog bit a man without provocation while he was walking on a sidewalk. The man was treated at the scene.

Fraud

Officers responded to a report of a fraud. A woman received mail from the IRS and the State Franchise Tax Board. The mail was addressed to a business that she had no connection with.

High Beams On-Suspended Drivers License-No Proof of Insurance-Cited

32nd Ave and Rivera St
Officers stopped a vehicle for unlawfully having its high beams on. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. He also could not provide proof of liability insurance. The driver was cited and released for the above violations.
