Home Invasion Robbery

100 Farallones St
Officers responded to a report of a home invasion robbery. Two suspects entered a victim’s home, tied her up, hit her, and demanded the whereabouts of her valuables. They claimed their actions were in retaliation on behalf of a third suspect who was not present in the house. The suspects ransacked the home and stole valuables. They told the victim to not contact the police and then fled. The victim was able to free herself and dial 911 from her neighbor’s phone.
Suspect #1: White male; 6’00” tall; 170 lbs; LSW yellow sweatshirt, blue jeans, black beanie
Suspect #2: Hispanic female; 5’5” tall; 175 lbs; brown hair; LSW black sweater, blue jeans, sunglasses; walks with a limp and uses a cane
Suspect #3: Hispanic female; 5’4” tall; black hair; thin build

Theft
9:26 am
2400 41st Ave
An Adult Protective Service (APS) worker walked into Taraval Station to report a theft on behalf of an elderly client. The elderly client’s bank notified the APS worker about a suspicious transfer of funds from the elderly client’s account to a medical marketing vendor. The elderly client did not recall purchasing or receiving any service or product from that medical marketing vendor.

Battery

2100 24th Ave
An officer responded to a report of a battery. A student at a high school edged his way past a teacher with his shoulder. The student had been told to stay inside a classroom but he refused.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
11:55 am
2300 24th Ave
Officers were flagged down in front of Taraval Police Station regarding an assault. A woman had been beaten unconsciously. She had voluntarily ridden in a vehicle with three men. The men tried to coerce her into working for them as a prostitute. When she refused, she was kicked and beaten into unconsciousness. She was found by a good samaritan at 20th Ave and Vicente St.

Burglary

00 Cambon Dr
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. A victim went to her storage unit and saw its entry was damaged and opened. Two of her belongings were missing.

Theft
7:05 pm
1200 Irving St
An officer responded to a report of a shoplifting. A known shoplifter was seen concealing merchandise items and exit without paying for them.
Suspect: Black male; 40-50 years; 5’6” tall; 150 lbs; black hair; brown eyes; LSW blue/black coat with a hood, black sweatpants, black shoes, short dreadlocks

Attempted Robbery

1200 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. Employees confronted a known shoplifter who had merchandise items in a bag. He was asked to empty the bag and leave the store. The shoplifter however pulled-out a pocketknife. The employees feel threatened. The suspect then emptied the bag and exited without the merchandise.

Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor

100 Riverton Dr
A man walked into Taraval Station to report that the person who is dating his teenage child is contributing to the teenager’s delinquency. The teenager had overdosed on drugs. The teenager had been coming home drunk or under-the-influence. The man believed the person dating his teenage child had supplied illicit drugs.
Suspect: White male; 21 years; 5’10” tall;160 lbs; black hair; brown eyes

Illegal U turn-Suspended Drivers License-No Proof of Insurance-Cited
8:15 pm
Ulloa St and 19th Ave
Officers stopped a vehicle for making an illegal U turn. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver could not produce proof of liability insurance. He was cited for the above violations.

Mental Health Detention
11:25 pm
2400 30th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fight. One of the involved persons made statements that indicated the person was a danger to oneself. Therefore the person was transported to a psychiatric care center for a mental health evaluation.
