Brandishing Weapon-Theft-Attempted Robbery-Arrest

Officers responded to a report of a suspect in custody for brandishing a weapon, attempted robbery, and theft. The suspect was a known shoplifter who on the previous day brandished a knife when confronted by store employees. The suspect was seen again and a store employee followed the suspect out of the store. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the employee. The suspect tossed the knife but it was later recovered by officers. The employee successfully took custody of the suspect and placed him under citizen’s arrest for brandishing a weapon in a threatening manner. Officers took the suspect into custody and also arrested him for theft and attempted robbery.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. A man was standing on a sidewalk when a suspect ran-up and pointed a gun at him. The suspect demanded victim surrender his belongings. The victim complied. The suspect then fled.
Suspect: Black male; 30-40 years; 5’6” tall; 150 lbs; black hair; LSW gray hooded sweater, blue jeans, blue Nike shoes; goatee

Driving in a Bus Only Lane-No Drivers License-Arrested

An officer stopped a vehicle for driving in a bus only lane. A record check revealed the driver did not have a license. The driver was arrested and released for the above violations.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon-False Identification to Police-Arrest Warrant-Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a fight. Two women fought each other and had used pepper spray on one another. One woman provided a false identity to the officers. She also had an arrest warrant. The woman was arrested for the above violations. The other woman was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

26th Ave and Ortega St
Officers responded to a report of a fight. A suspect approached a man on a sidewalk and demanded to know why the man was looking at him. They argued and subsequently exchanged punches. The suspect left the scene after they stopped fighting. Paramedics treated the man at the scene.
Suspect: White male; 25-30 years; 6’2” tall; 180 lbs; brown hair; LSW no shirt, black shorts; scruffy hair

No Drivers License-Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. A record check revealed one of the involved drivers did not have a driver’s license. The driver was arrested and released for the above violation.

Officers responded to a man’s request to be arrested for warrants. A record check revealed the man had numerous arrest warrants. The man was arrested for the warrants.

Mental Health Detention

Officers responded to a report of a suicidal person. The person was determined to be a danger to oneself and therefore was transported to a psychiatric mental health center for evaluation.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. A person exhibited signs of intoxication. Officers determined the person was a danger to oneself and to others. Therefore the person was transported to a psychiatric mental health center for evaluation.
