Battery-Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a battery. A couple had got into a fight. The primary aggressor was identified and was arrested for battery involving domestic violence.

Vandalism

2500 25th Ave
An officer responded to a report of a vandalism at a school. Campus staff saw spilled paint all over the playground. Two outdoor sheds had damaged locks as well.

Fraud

2000 20th Ave
A man walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. Numerous unauthorized charges were made on his credit card after it was stolen from his unattended vehicle. His credit card company informed him of the unauthorized charges.

Theft-Arrested

1100 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. A store employee saw a shoplifter conceal a merchandise item and exit without paying. Employees confronted the suspect outside and detained her. They placed her under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting. Officers took custody of the shoplifter, gave her a court summons, and then released her.

Assault

An officer responded to a report of an assault at a school. A campus staff member alleged a student tried to trip her. No physical contact was made.

Fraud

500 Wildwood Wy
A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. The woman received packages containing merchandise items that she did not order. She was billed for the merchandise.

Aggravated Assault-Arrested

2300 28th Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. A man became verbally hostile toward a victim while the victim was talking to an another person on a sidewalk. The man then got into his car. The victim walked over and wrote down the man’s license plate. The man became upset and attempted to hit her with his car. The suspect then drove away. Officers found the suspect and arrested him for aggravated assault.

Theft

60 Beverly St
Officers responded to a report of a theft. A victim left her belonging unattended on a counter at a church. Two unrecognized people were seen walking around inside. Witnesses saw the two people walk through the area before the belonging disappeared. The suspects then fled.
Suspect #1 – Black male :: 5’10” tall
Suspect #2 – Black male :: black hair

A man reported that lids from trash cans were cut off.

Dog Bite

100 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a possibly suicidal person. One of the officers was bit once in the leg by a dog at the scene.

Suspended Driver’s License-Broken Tail Light-Arrested

Ortega St & 19th Ave
Officers stopped a vehicle for a broken tail light. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was arrested and released for the above violations.

19th Ave & Pacheco St
An officer stopped a vehicle for reckless driving and unsafe lane change. Officers smelled marijuana and alcohol reeking from the occupants. A search of the occupant area revealed an opened alcoholic beverage, marijuana, controlled substances, and a pellet gun. The driver was arrested for the above violations. Each of the two other occupants were cited and released for being in reach of controlled substances.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. A man was walking when two suspects approached and grabbed him. They threatened to shoot him if he did not surrender his belongings. The victim did not see any weapon on the suspects. The victim complied and the suspects fled on foot.
