A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. She answered an online ad for a babysitting and daycare job. The prospective employer claimed to be from England and indicated she was moving to San Francisco with her family. The ‘employer’ sent the woman a cashier’s check from a closed account. The ‘employer’ asked the woman to send some money back through Western Union. The woman became suspicious and later found out it was a scam.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. A victim got into an argument with two other women who pulled up in an SUV. The two women beat the victim as they argued over a man. The women took the victim’s belongings that dropped on the ground. They also snatched an item out of the victim’s hand. The suspects fled in their vehicle.
