Officers responded to a report of a fight. A record check of one of the combatants revealed she had arrest warrants. She was arrested for the warrants.

Officers responded to report of a threat. A woman received threatening texts from a man who had dated the woman’s former roommate. The woman spurned his advances and he became upset. The man threatened to harm her.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a threat. The man had inspected a bar as a member of the Health Department. He felt threatened after one of the proprietors made a hostile comment to harm him.
Suspect – Asian male :: 31-32 years :: 5’6″ :: 140 lbs :: black hair :: LSW gray shirt

Robbery-Warrant Arrest-Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter who resisted detention by an employee. The employee had seen a shoplifter conceal a merchandise item and exit without paying. The employee confronted the shoplifter in an effort to detain him. The shoplifter then physically resisted detention. The employee succeeded in detaining the shoplifter. Officers took custody of the suspect. A record check revealed he also had arrest warrants. The suspect was arrested for robbery and for the warrants.

A man reported his recently bought cellular phone was stolen. He placed the phone on an empty seat next to him while eating at a mall food court. A person walked up to him and distracted him with a question. Afterwards, the man turned to check on his phone and saw that it was gone.

Fraud

600 Kirkham St
A man walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. He was notified by his health insurance carrier that a massive data security breach occurred. As a result, sensitive information about he and his family was compromised. He was advised to file a police report.

Stay Away Order Violation

Officers responded to a report of a stay away order violation. A man who was ordered to temporarily stay away from a home showed up to use the bathroom. The man was told to leave by the home occupant and then he left.
Suspect – male :: 41 years :: 5’10” tall :: 180 lbs :: bald :: brown eyes

Fraud-Arrested

700 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a fraud suspect there now. A victim–who lost his wallet earlier, was notified that one of his lost credit cards was used recently at a nearby store. He was shown a recorded surveillance footage of a suspect using his credit card without his permission. The victim then saw the suspect outside and chased him. The suspect barricaded himself in a bathroom. Officers detained the suspect. The victim placed the suspect under citizen’s arrest for fraudulent use of his credit card and for unlawful possession of his credit card. Officers took custody of the suspect, gave him a court summons, and released him.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. A man used his cellular phone to film a speeding vehicle pull into a parking space. The man approached the driver with his phone to record the encounter. An argument ensued and the driver punched the man in the head. The driver then fled.

Suspended Driver’s License-Failure to Yield to Pedestrian-Arrested

An officer stopped a vehicle for failure to yield to a pedestrian crossing in a crosswalk. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was arrested for the above violations and then released.
