I am excited to share with you the news that the $243 million Public Safety Building campus is set to open and become operational in April 2015. The state-of-the-art, voter-supported public safety facility soon will be home to San Francisco Police Department headquarters, Southern District Police Station and Fire Station No. 4.
Public Works is working closely with the Police Department to host public tours on March 20th and March 21st. This will be the last and only chance for the public to get a behind-the-scenes look at this public safety facility before it becomes operational.
