Officers responded to a report of a shattered window. An unknown suspect shattered a front window to a closed restaurant. The restaurant’s owner arrived later & there were no property taken.

Battery

1600 Holloway Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. A passenger on a street train got into an argument with another passenger. As they both exited at the same stop, the other passenger hit the passenger who reported the incident. The passenger hit the suspect back before the suspect fled.
Suspect – Hispanic male :: 25-30 years :: 5’8” tall :: 170 lbs :: brown hair :: LSW red button up shirt, black jacket, black jeans

Burlgary-False Imprisonment-Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a home invasion robbery. A victim was alone when a suspect gained entry, threatened the victim with a gun, & demanded money. The suspect then tied up the victim & fled with the money.
Suspect – White male :: 28-35years :: 6’0” tall :: 180 lbs :: LSW black beanie, black jacket

Violation of Restraining Order-Arrested

An officer responded to a report of a restraining order violation. A man demanded he stay overnight at a dwelling of an occupant whom he was ordered to stay away from. The officer detained the man who violated the order at the scene. The man was arrested for violating a restraining order.

Assault

1400 20th Ave
Officers responded to an initial report of vandalism. A man alleged he was hit with pellets from a BB gun. The man was in his opened garage repairing his motorcycle. When he loudly revved the engine, he felt something hit him on his back. An unknown suspect fired numerous pellets at him through the opened garage. The victim could not see where the shots were coming from so he took cover by closing the garage door.

17th Ave & Taraval St
A person reported a theft online. She left her bicycle unattended outside a grocery store. Upon return the bicycle was gone.

Robbery

700 Holloway Ave
Officers responded to an initial report of a battery. A man was entering his home when a suspect held a crowbar & demanded the man surrender his house keys. The suspect then punched the victim & took the victim’s keys. The suspect then fled when a passerby walked by. The victim saw a second suspect whom acted like a lookout. The suspects fled.

Theft

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. The man had let a suspect–who is homeless, use his house to shower & wash his clothes. The man could not find his belongings after the homeless suspect used his house. Therefore the man alleged the homeless suspect had taken his belongings without permission.

No Driver’s License-Expired Registration-Arrested

Ocean Ave & Cerritos Ave
Officers stopped a vehicle for an expired registration tab. A record check revealed the driver did not have a license. The driver was arrested for the above violations, given a court summons, & then released.
