An officer responded to a traffic collision. A record check revealed one of the involved drivers did not have a license. He was arrested for the above violation, given a court summons, & released.

Trespassing

An officer responded to a report of a trespassing. An evicted tenant tried to gain entry into his former dwelling. His former landlord tried to stop him from entering the premise by holding a door. The evicted tenant fled. The former tenant had already stepped onto private property before trying to regain entry his former dwelling.

Fraud

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. She answered an online advertisement for employment. A potential employer claimed he was overseas & requested the woman deposit a check he sent her. She was further instructed by the suspect upon depositing the check she was to wire transfer money to an account belonging to a second suspect. The check turned out be fake.

Officers responded to an initial report of burglary. A property owner found a broken padlock that secured his backyard gate. There was no other damage & no property missing.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. His belonging disappeared from his living room. He alleged his estranged spouse–who has permission to stay at his home, took his personal belonging without his permission.
Suspect – White female :: 23 years :: 5’10” tall :: 200 lbs :: brown hair :: green eyes

A man walked into Taraval Station to report fraud. He received a letter from a collection agency demanding he pay back what was owed. He found out an unknown suspect used his identity without permission to open a cellular telephone account & amassed a large debt.

Battery
9:05 pm
100 Font Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a battery. Two victims were riding in an elevator when a suspect entered. One victim accidentally hit the emergency button causing the elevator to stop moving. The suspect became upset, hit one victim, & spat on the other. The suspect fled.
Suspect – Hispanic male :: 20-30 years :: 5’7” tall :: brown hair :: LSW blue & grey baseball cap, striped shirt, dark pants

Battery on Peace Officer-Resist/Obstruct/Delay Officer’s Duties-Arrested

Officers responded to a man acting erratically. He opened a door to an occupied car. The occupant did not know the man & quickly drove away. The man banged on a parked car & posed in a martial arts stance. Officers tried to detain the man to determine whether he was involved in a crime. The man ran away & then kicked an officer. Officers also determined he was a danger to himself & to others. The man was arrested for battery on a peace officer & obstructing an officer’s lawful duty. He was sent to a mental health center for evaluation & treatment.
