Warrant Arrest-Theft-Resisting Officer’s Lawful Duties

Officers responded to a report of a theft suspect at a location. The suspect was also identified as someone with an arrest warrant. When officers tried to take him into custody, he resisted & fled while holding a bat. Officers took him into custody. He was arrested for the warrant & the above violations.

600 Lakeview Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fight. A young man hit & pushed his family members when he got upset over a non-working cellular phone. A citizen’s arrest was made against the young man. Officers transported the young man to a juvenile center.

Assault-Arrested

3900 19th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fight. A driver & his passenger were assaulted. The driver was attacked with a chemical spray & an electric shock weapon. The pedestrians got upset when the driver stopped to allow the pedestrians to cross a roadway. The pedestrians were placed under citizen’s arrest for assault with weapons. One of the pedestrians was also placed under citizen’s arrest for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. They were given a court summons & then released.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report fraud. She was an appointed trustee of an elderly woman. She found an enormous amount of money had been paid to a suspect by the elderly woman. The suspect claimed he did contract work for the elderly woman yet he could not produce documentation.
Suspect – White male :: 55-65 years :: 5’08” tall :: 165 lbs :: brown hair

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report fraud. She was notified that an unauthorized purchase was made with her credit card information in a foreign country. She did not give anyone permission to do so.

Attempt to Steal Vehicle

Officers responded to a report of an attempt to steal a vehicle. A vehicle owner returned to her parked & unattended vehicle to find a scissor blade stuck it its key ignition.

A person reported a theft online. He had a plant outside his house that disappeared when he returned home.

Vandalism-Trespassing-Arrested

100 Majestic Ave
Officers responded to a report of trespassers at a vacated home. The home was on the market for sale. A real estate agent found squatters inside. There was damage to the front door frame & a heavy odor of cigarette smoke inside. A citizen’s arrest was made against the trespassers. One of them was arrested for trespassing & vandalism. The other trespasser was arrested for trespassing only & was released after she was given a court summons.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. Two suspects were seen in a recorded surveillance footage grabbing an arm full of merchandise items & exiting without paying for them.
Suspect #1 – Black female :: 20-30 years :: shoulder length black hair :: LSW green button down shirt, blue jeans
Suspect #2 – Black female :: 20-30 years :: black hair :: LSW light color shirt with a design on front, dark pants
