Driving Under Influence-Unsafe Lane Change-Following Vehicle Too Closely-Arrested

An officer stopped a vehicle for weaving in & out of lanes & following a vehicle too closely. The officer determined the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for the above violations.

Burglary of Vehicle-Possession of Stolen Property-Possession of Burlgary Tools-Probation Violation-Conspiracy to Commit Crime-Arrested

34th Ave & Vicente St
Officers responded to a report of burglary of a vehicle in progress. The suspects were seen fleeing in a getaway vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle & found stolen property inside. A record check revealed two of the three occupants of the vehicle were on probation. A search of the vehicle revealed burglary tools commonly used to break into cars. They were all arrested for burglary of a vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, & conspiracy to commit crime. Two of the suspects were also arrested for violating their probation.

Officers responded to a report of bicycle theft. A man left his unsecured bicycle unattended in a patio area behind a locked gate. When he returned the bicycle was gone. There was no sign of forced entry into the patio area.

Officers responded to a report of restraining order violation. A man was prohibited from contacting his former spouse & their children. He sent messages to one of them in violation of the restraining order.

An officer saw a wanted man. A record check confirmed a warrant for his arrest. The man was therefore arrested for the warrant.

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. Two suspects were seen running into the store & then exiting with unpaid merchandise items. The suspects fled in a getaway vehicle.
Suspect #1- Black female :: 25-30 years :: 5’05” tall :: 200 lbs :: black hair :: LSW tattoos on chest, blue shirt, grey zip up jacket, yoga pants, blue shoes
Suspect #2 – Black female :: 20-25 years :: 5’05” tall :: 120 lbs :: black hair :: LSW light colored yoga pants
Suspect vehicle – silver 2006 Chevrolet Impala

Fraud

A man walked into Taraval Station to report fraud. He contacted a potential employer over the internet. The employer mailed him a check. The employer wanted the man to refund a portion of the check back to the employer after it was deposited in the man’s account. The man’s bank told him the check bounced.

An officer responded to a report of vandalism. He saw a surveillance footage of his neighbor putting super glue inside his deadbolt lock.
Suspect – White male :: 60-70 years :: 5’07” tall :: 160 lbs :: white hair

Officers responded to a report of bicycle theft. A man left his locked bicycle unattended in the back of an apartment complex. When he returned the bicycle was gone. The lock had been cut & left on the ground.

Threatening Phone Calls

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report threat. The woman’s brother in law stored stolen items in her garage. The woman informed the owners of the items that her brother in law was stealing from them. The brother in law found out she was the one who told the owners. He became upset & told the woman’s sister that he will seek revenge. He called her numerous times but the woman did not answer out of fear.

Elder Abuse

A woman with the Adult Protective Services walked into Taraval Station to report elder abuse. She went to check on the wellbeing of two dependent elderly adults at a home. They were not in satisfactory condition. However, the APS worker did not believe the caretakers intended to cause their poor conditions.

Officers responded to a report of purse snatching. A woman was walking on sidewalk when a suspect ran up behind her & snatched her purse. He fled on foot with her purse.

Officers responded to a report of suspicious package attached to a pole. Officers determined the package was harmless.
