Taraval CPAB Thanks Officers on Law Enforcement Appreciation Week

cpab_may_15_2015_bOn May 15, 2015 members of the Taraval Community Police Advisory Board (CPAB) pooled their money & resources to show their appreciation for their officers. Food & refreshments were served beginning at 9am. Captain Lum thanked the CPAB for their commitment to volunteerism & for being a strong advocate on behalf of his officers.

The Taraval CPAB consists of community volunteers who help to strengthen a positive partnership between the officers of Taraval Station & the neighborhoods they serve. The Board plays a vital role in ensuring an effective & transparent communication between the station’s leadership & the people of the police district. CPAB members are community stakeholders who provide vital help to the Station Captain. CPAB is an example of the Department’s core belief that no police agency can be effective without the trust of the community it serves.
