Suspended Driver’s License-No Left Turn-Arrested

An officer stopped a vehicle for making a left turn against signs prohibiting the turn. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was arrested for the above violations. He was given a court summons & then released.

Suspicious Death

100 Aptos Ave
Officers responded to a report of suspicious death. An elderly person at a care home was found unresponsive. The unresponsive person had a wound. Paramedics arrived & declared the person deceased. Homicide investigators responded & took over the investigation.

Aggravated Assault-Robbery-Arrested

Officers responded to a report of fight on a MUNI bus. Two passengers got into a fight. The victim was beaten & the suspect then fled with the victim’s belongings. Officers found the suspect & arrested him for aggravated assault & robbery.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report a court order violation. Her former spouse failed to meet her at a place & time specified by a court order to deliver their child.

A man reported a theft online. He left his belongings in a storage unattended. When he returned, they were gone.

Robbery

Officers responded to a report of shoplifter who threatened to use a knife when confronted by store employees. Two suspects were seen concealing merchandise items & exit the store. One suspect fled while the other one was detained. The detained suspect threatened to use a knife but did not show one. The employees backed away but verbally convinced him to be taken into custody. The detained shoplifter was arrested for robbery.

Officers responded to a report of battery. A driver & a passenger in one vehicle got into an argument with a driver of another vehicle in a parking lot. Neither party exited their vehicles. When the driver & the passenger stopped at a stop sign in their vehicle, the other vehicle pulled up & its driver spat at the passenger through an opened window. The other driver then fled from the scene in his vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of theft. An unknown suspect pulled off a copper guardrail from an outdoor stairwell.

Robbery-Battery

Officers responded to a report of fight. A suspect got into an argument with two victims. The dispute escalated when one of the victims pulled out her cellular phone to video record the argument. The suspect forcibly snatched the cellular phone away & hit the victims as he fled with the cellular phone.

An officer responded to a report of man with a chainsaw. The man had gone into an argument with another man. A record check revealed the man had a warrant for his arrest. Therefore he was arrested.
