Warrant Arrest – Arrested

400 Head St
Officers responded to a report of verbal altercation between the victim and her nephew. When officers arrived, the victim told the officers that she had an argument with her nephew and he wouldn’t allow her back into her home. The victim also stated that her nephew has an active warrant. The victim was able to point out the direction her nephew fled, which helped the officers searching the area to locate him. A computer check confirmed the warrant and he was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – False Evidence of Registration – Arrested

17th Ave & Rivera St
Officers were patrolling the area when they spotted a vehicle failing to stop at a a stop sign and “roll” through at about 5 mph instead. The officers also observed that that the driver had a cell phone held up to his ear, a cracked front windshield and an object hanging from his rear view mirror. The officers conducted a traffic stop on the driver and a computer check revealed that the vehicle’s registration had not been paid since 2006 but there was a current 2015 sticker attached to the vehicle. The Officers contacted DMV and were told that the sticker on the suspect’s vehicle belong to another vehicle. The officers arrested the driver for all the above violations.

Trespassing – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of trespassing against a suspect with a history of similar citations at the reported location.  Upon arrival, officers confirmed that it was again the same suspect who was demanding entry at the location and trespassing. Because of the previous reports and citations for trespassing, the suspect was arrested for the continuing to trespass.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Cardenas Dr & Gonzalez
Officers were patrolling the area when they noticed a vehicle failing to stop at a a stop sign and “roll” through at 5 mph instead. The officers conducted a traffic stop and were told by the driver that he didn’t have his driver’s license with him. A computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Brotherhood Way & Chumasero Dr
An officer responded to a report of a victim tracking her stolen cell phone. When the officer arrived, the victim stated that her house was burglarized in the Northern District. The victim tracked her stolen cell phone to a gas station where he saw two people get into a vehicle a started driving away. The victim looked at the tracking and noticed that it coincided with the leaving vehicle. The victim then continued followed the suspect and called the police. Officers detained the suspects and found that one of the suspects had a plastic bag with white crystals that was suspected to be Methamphetamine. The suspect was cited for the Methamphetamine and the vehicle was towed as a search warrant was necessary to search for the phone in the vehicle.
