Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Arrested

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop; the driver verbally identified himself and told the officers that he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver had no other forms of identification on him and the officers were unable to positively identify if he had given his correct name or not. The driver was arrested.

Officers responded to a battery incident. Officers arrived and located the two people that had been in the fight. The first person stated that he was sitting inside the Laundromat by the change machine and using the WIFI. The other person walked up to him, called him a name (“donkey’s butt”) which prompted an argument and the other person hit him with a chair. The second person told the officers that he was trying to get change from the change machine but the other person would not move. He then said that “some people are just a donkey’s butt” to the room in general. The other person got angry, stood up and punched him twice on his face. Both parties wanted to press charges. They were both cited for the battery.
