Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery incident. The victim told the officers that he had just purchase some food and there was only one place in the designated sitting area to eat but it was already occupied. The victim sated that he asked the suspect to move but the suspect said “no”.  The victim sat down anyway and started moving the suspect items out of his way.  They began to argue and a store employee asked them to leave. Outside the store, the suspect grabbed the victim’s sunglasses and tossed it on the floor before grabbing the victim’s shirt and making a non threatening comment before leaving the area. An employee who witnessed the incident stated that the victim provoked the incident as there were plenty of tables that are empty but the victim sat down at the suspects table and moved the suspect’s items which provoked the argument.
Suspect #1 – black male :: 20 – 25 years :: 6’3’’ tall

Robbery

Officers responded to the area on a report of a robbery. The victim stated that she was walking down the street holding onto a cell phone when the suspect approached her. The suspect pulled out a knife and demanded the phone. The victim gave the suspect her phone and the suspect fled the area.
Suspect #1 – Hispanic male :: 25 – 35 years :: 5’6’’ tall :: 180 lb :: gray beanie, dark color jacket, scarf over mouth
Vehicle – gray ford SUV

Assault – Threats – Driving Under the Influence – Arrested

1300 Irving St
Officers responded to the area regarding a suspect spiting on the victim, a bar bouncer, and the victim wanted to press charges. The victim stated that the he noticed someone urinating against the wall of the building. The victim warned the person who was urinating to stop but the suspect approached the victim and started arguing with him. The suspect then spat at the victim, got into a vehicle and attempted to drive towards the victims’ direction.   

When the officers arrived on scene, the victim pointed to the suspect standing next to a doubled parked vehicle. As the officers approached the suspect, the vehicle drove away but the officers were able to locate and detained the suspect. Once detained, the suspect showed the signs of intoxication such as slurred speech and having a staggered gait.  A DUI investigation was conducted and the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a couple in a fight where the victim stated that the suspect hit her. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, coupled with witness statements, the suspect was arrested.
