Firearm Possession – Marijuana Offense – Arrested

A sergeant was driving in the area when he observed a suspect acting suspiciously and casting multiple glances and doubling back to watch the sergeant and  trying to track the direction the sergeant was heading.  The sergeant made a U-turn and observed the suspect running across the street mid block toward a vehicle. The sergeant decided to talk to the suspect about jay-walking. As the sergeant approached the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana emanated from the vehicle. The suspect told the sergeant that he was on probation which was confirmed by a computer check. The sergeant executed a probation search and also located a loaded firearm in the vehicle’s trunk. The suspect was arrested.

An officer was patrolling when he noticed a vehicle driving through a solid red light. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that she had never been issued a drivers license. The driver was cited.

An officer was patrolling when he noticed a vehicle with an obstruction hanging from the rear view mirror. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he had never been issued a drivers license. The driver was cited.

100 West Portal Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that she was walking down the street when suddenly the suspect hit her once behind the head and continued walking. The victim pointed out to where the suspect was. The suspect was cited for the battery.

Battery

Broad St & Orizaba St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that a known suspect had called her names and then purposely spilled a drink on her. The victim, in turn, spilled her drink on him. The suspect punched the victim and left the scene.

Robbery with Force

1500 45th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fight on the street. Upon arrival, the victim told the officers that he had been walking down the street when the suspect suddenly came from behind and punched him in the face. When the victim fell to the floor, the suspect unsuccessfully  tried to pull the victim’s backpack off.  The victim said that someone yelled out and the suspect ran away however the suspect was able to steal the victim’s cell phone.
Suspect #1 – Black male :: 5’10” tall
Suspect #2 – unknown male

Officers responded to a report of a battery. When the officers arrived, one party said that she was taking her garage out when the second party called her names and slapped her forearm. The second party said that earlier in the day, party number one called him names and pushed him as he walked by. Both parties wanted to press charges. Both parties were cited for battery.

Assault

Victim came to Taraval Station to report an assault. The victim said that when she opened her front gate the suspect, her neighbor, rushed towards her, made a comment and then pushed the gate which caused it to hit the victim’s forearm.

Weapons on School Ground – Admonished

Officers responded to a report of a student in possession of a weapon at school. The dean of the school told the officers that they received a tip that a student was in possession of a bb gun. A search of the student revealed an airsoft bb gun with pellets. The dean told the officers that the students had been admonished.

Burglary

4200 Pacheco St
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that she was in her bedroom when she was woken up by noises coming from the next bedroom. This worried her and caused her to get up to close and lock her door. The victim then called her housemate who denied that they were making the noises.  The victim stated that the garage door may have been left open due to mechanical issues.
