Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Judah St & 24th Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle traveling on the diamond lane, which is a turning only lane or a bus lane. The vehicle continued traveling in the diamond lane without any indication of making a turn or getting out of the lane so the officers conducted a traffic stop. A computer check on the driver revealed his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Driving while under the influence of Alcohol – Traffic Violation – Arrested

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making a left turn, which was in violation of the posted no left turn signs. The officers conducted a traffic stop and approached the driver, who smelled of alcoholic beverages.  The driver also showed signs of intoxication with slowed speech and watery, bloodshot eyes. The officers conducted a field sobriety test which the driver failed. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.

Restraining Order Violation – Vandalism – Arrested

Officers responded to a call of neighbors having an argument. The victim told the officers that she had let the suspect borrow her iPad. However, the suspect used her iPad and went through her personal files. The suspect discovered that victim had been unfaithful, got upset and smashed her iPad on the floor. A computer check revealed that the suspect was in violation of a restraining order issued out of San Mateo which prohibited the suspect from destroying any personal items of the victim. The suspect was arrested.

West Portal & Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person who was loitering. The officers located the suspect and suspect stated that he was lost and was looking for a coffee shop. A computer check revealed that the suspect had an outstanding warrant and the suspect was later arrested.

Burglary – Arrested
12:47 am
2300 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of Safeway employee detaining a burglary suspect. Witness said that they saw the suspect go into the closed pharmacy section of the store by lifting the window’s gate and climbed in. The intrusion set off the alarm and the suspect attempted to flee the scene but the employee and security guard were able to detain him. The officer reviewed the security footage, confirmed the sequence of events and the suspect was later arrested.

Sunset Blvd & Ocean Ave
An officer was conducting LIDAR enforcement and observed a motorcycle speeding. LIDAR confirmed that the motorcycle was traveling 46 mph in a 30 mph zone. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver’s license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Officers and Medic responded to a report of a driver who was passed out inside a motor vehicle that was still in a traffic lane. Responding officers located the vehicle and observed that the driver was indeed unconscious with the keys in the ignition, the vehicle in gear and still running. The driver had a the smell of alcohol on his breath with watery and blood shot eyes but the medic confirmed the driver did not have any additional medical issues. Officers conducted a field sobriety test after the driver was revived but the driver failed it. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.

Officers responded to a second report of a driver that was passed out inside a motor vehicle which was still in a traffic lane.  Responding officers located the vehicle and observed that the driver was indeed unconscious with the keys in the ignition, the vehicle in gear and still running. The driver had a the smell of alcohol on his breath with watery and blood shot eyes. Officers conducted a field sobriety test after the driver was revived but the driver failed it. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.
