Robbery – Traffic Collision

Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision and robbery. The victim stated that he was sitting in his vehicle at the gas station when suspect #1 approached him and asked him for directions, which he gave. Suspect #2 came up to him and asked him for money, which he also gave. Suspect #3 also approached but demanded his iPhone. The victim was also punched by suspect #3 when he leaned into the open car window and tried to take the iPhone by force.  At which point, the victim stated he was scared and pressed on gas pedal which caused the car to move forward and hit another vehicle. The suspects fled the scene without stealing the iPhone or anything else.

Officers responded to a report of a female crying into the phone call. Upon arrival at the scene, the victim told officers that she and the suspect got into an argument over doing the dishes. The victim said she got upset and threw the suspect’s phone on to the floor. The suspect then pushed the victim and dragged her by the feet. The suspect was arrested.

Robbery – Fraud

The victim came to Taraval Station regarding a fraud incident. The victim said that the suspect #1 came up to her and told her that her wallet was stolen and she needed her  check cashed because her rent was due. The victim felt bad and she agreed to help. The suspect led the victim to several ATMs in attempt to deposit the check, but was unable to get it deposited.  Suspect #1 then took the victim to where Suspect #2 was located and both suspects demanded that the victim take her own money out of the ATM. The victim said she felt frighten so she took out some money and gave it to the suspects.

Suspect – Black male :: 30-35 years :: 5’7” tall :: 190 lbs :: black hair

Vehicle Violation – Expired Driver’s License – Cited

Officers were on patrol when they noticed a vehicle with an inoperable head light which then proceeded to make a left turn despite the numerous no left turn signs posted. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had expired. The driver was cited.
