Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated to the officers that the suspect, his brother, had hit him on the head. They victim stated that they had an argument earlier over bar-b-que. The suspect was cited.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Noriega St & 31St Ave
An officer was patrolling when he observed a vehicle failing to yield to a pedestrian. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that her license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Battery – Arrested

Kirkham St
Officers responded to a report of a couple fighting. The victim wanted to break off relations with the suspect and after going to the suspects house to retrieve some property, they began have a verbal argument. At that time, the suspect pushed the victim which caused both suspect and victim to start pushing each other. The suspect then stuck the victim in the face and went back into his house. The victim drove away and called the police. A few minutes later, the suspect went to the station to also report the incident and stated that he was the victim in the incident instead. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
