Battery

15th Ave & Kirkham St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that he was walking on the steps of 15th Ave, between Kirkham St and Lawton St.  The suspect, who was working out, told the victim to move over.  The victim heard his dog suddenly yelp in pain and believed the suspect had purposely stepped on his dog.  The victim and the suspect had an argument and the suspect grabbed the victim by his neck.  The victim managed to get away and call the police but the suspect followed and continued to fight with him.  The suspect eventually stopped, ran up the stairs away and fled the scene.
Suspect – white male :: 55-60 years :: 5’10” tall :: 200 lbs :: brown hair

Officers responded to a report of a dumpster fire. SFFD also responded and put out the fire. SFFD determined the case to be suspicious.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s Licenses Issued

A sergeant was in the area when he observed a vehicle traveling 48 mph in a 35 mph zone.  The sergeant conducted a traffic stop and a computer check of the driver revealed that he had never been issued a driver’s license.  The driver was cited.

Shoplifting – Arrested Warrant – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter.  The responding officers detained a person matching the description given and detained them.  The witness positively identified the suspect and said that he saw the suspect select a pair of headphones, conceal them and walk out of the store without paying.  A computer check on the suspect also revealed a warrant.  The suspect was arrested.

1200 19th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a brandishing gun as well as a hit and run.  The victim said that he was getting gas when the suspect backed into him and hit his vehicle. The suspect attempted to flee but was caught in traffic. The victim said he caught up to the suspect’s vehicle and knocked on the passengers window. The passenger then took put a gun and waved it at the victim. The victim was afraid, backed away to safe distance and called the police. Other responding officers located the vehicle, the driver, and the suspect.  Officers were able to determine that it was a BB gun that was brandished and not a real gun.   A computer check revealed that the driver did not have a license and a search revealed that he was also carrying methamphetamine.  After further investigation, both the driver and passenger were cited.

Officers responded on a report of battery. The victim told the officer that the suspect had threatened her and grabbed her by her neck. The victim said that she was talking to the suspect about a divorce but the suspect got angry and threaten to hurt her. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
