Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol – Traffic Violation -Arrested

Lincoln Way & 19th Ave
Officers were patrolling in the area when they observed a vehicle making a right turn at a red light without making a stop first.  The driver then went on to run another red light at a different intersection.  When speaking to an officer during the traffic stop, the driver had slurred and repetitive speech with an odor of alcoholic beverages on his breath. An officer conducted a field sobriety test on the driver which the driver failed. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

An officer was patrolling in the area when he observed a vehicle driving without it’s head lights on. The vehicle was then observed to make a left turn where numerous signs were posted for no left turns. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a license. The driver was cited.

A sergeant was patrolling in the area when he observed a vehicle failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The sergeant conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Assault – Violation of Stay Away – Arrested

Vicente St and 23rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of known suspect trying to attack someone with a stick. The victim told the officers that she was walking her dog when the suspect ran towards her holding a stick and looked like he was going to attack her. The victim stated that the suspect also has a stay away order from her. After further investigation, the officer was able to locate the stick and arrested the suspect.

Robbery – Vandalism

Officers responded to a vandalism report. The victim said that he was trying to park his vehicle in his garage but the suspect was blocking it. Soon after, the victim and the suspect had a heated argument as the victim started to film the suspect which made the suspect angry. The suspect grabbed the victim’s phone and threw it on the ground before driving away.
Suspect – Hispanic male :: 20-25 years :: 5’9” tall :: 190 lbs :: brown hair

Burglary – Shooting

Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and determined a business had been burglarized and a shooting had occurred.
