Permit Violation, Sidewalk Sale

An officer was patrolling in the area when he observed two suspects setting up a barbeque in the middle of the sidewalk. The officer watched as the suspect set up various skewers of meat and a sign offering to sell them.  The officer spoke to the suspects and they admitted that they had been selling food for the past three days. The officer told the suspect that they needed a permit to sell food and that it was also a safety issue otherwise.  The officer cited the suspect.

An officer was patrolling in the area when he observed a vehicle driving with a broken head light. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his driver’s license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Attempted Robbery

1600 Lincoln Way
Officers responded on a report of an attempted carjacking. An intoxicated victim told the officers that he was approached by suspects who wanted his vehicle. The victim refused to comply with the suspects and was struck on the back of his head by a suspect’s bb gun. The suspect then reported that all the suspects then fled into the park.
