Driving Under Influence – Arrest

1836 Kirkham St.
Officers were dispatched to a call regarding a driver who was allegedly driving under the influence. Upon arrival the officers made contact with the reporting party. The reporting individual told the officers that the suspect had been speeding and swaying from lane to lane and that he followed the car until it came to a stop. The officers then made contact with the driver and administered a field sobriety test in which the driver met the criteria for being intoxicated and driving under the influence. The officers then placed the driver under arrest for driving while under the influence.

An officer was in the area when he observed a vehicle with expired registration dates. The officers proceeded to conduct a traffic stop. A computer check revealed that the driver had a suspended license. The driver’s license was confiscated on scene and the driver was cited.
