Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

Officers were on patrol they observed a vehicle running a red light. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a license. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

3000 Lincoln Way
A sergeant was on patrol in the area when he observed a bicyclist riding on the sidewalk. The sergeant made contact with the bicyclist to admonish him of the violation. A computer check on the bicyclist revealed that he had an active warrant. The suspect was arrested.

Shoplifting – Cited

3200 20th Ave
An officer responded to a report of a shoplifter. Lost Prevention observed a known suspect who had previously caused problems in the store in the past. Loss Prevent kept surveillance on the suspect and observed him take items and conceal them in a bag before leaving the store. Loss Prevention detained the suspect. Officers arrived on scene and cited him.

Robbery

9th Ave & Irving St
An officer responded to a report of a robbery. The victim said that she eating a slice of pizza while walking back to work when a suspect came up to her and struck her on her face. The victim dropped the slice of pizza and watched the suspect pick up the pizza, start eating it and walk away. 

Threats – Arrested

2300 41st Ave
The victim flagged down officers regarding the suspect, her ex. The victim said that the suspect had been following and making threats to harm her. The victim said she was driving when the suspect drove in front of her and cut her off. The suspect exited the vehicle and made threats. The victim filed a report. Three hours later, the victim went to the station to make a supplemental report. While at the station, the suspect sent a text to the victim saying that he was in front of her house. Officers responded to the house and located the suspect. Subsequently, the suspect was arrested for making the threats.
