Stolen Vehicle – Traffic Collision – Arrest
9:47 pm
00 Berkshire Way
An officer responded to a report of a hit and run; the description of the vehicle matched the description of a vehicle that ran a stop sign and fled from officers earlier. However, due to the dangerous manner in which the vehicle was being driven, the officers were unable to keep chasing the suspect.  A witness told the officers that after the collision, four suspects excited the vehicle and descriptions of the suspects were given to dispatch. A computer check on the vehicle revealed that it had been stolen the previous day. Officers canvassed the area for the suspect and another witness told the officers that they saw a suspect going into the backyard of a house. The officers searched the back yard and located the driver but the other three suspects had fled the scene. The driver was arrested for multiple offenses.
