Battery – Arrested

Santa Monica Way
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim said that he and the suspect, his father, were having an argument. Afterwards, the victim left with the house his mother. When the victim came back home, all his belongings had been thrown out his bedroom window and into the backyard. Another round of arguments started and the victim said that the suspect also slapped him twice. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

2200 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Officers arrived on scene and met with the witness, a clerk. The witness told the officers that he had seen the suspect stealing on other occasions. This incident, the suspect selected numerous items, went into the back of the store and then got a cup of coffee before attempting to walk out of the store. The witness detained the suspect until officers arrived on the scene. Upon questioning, the suspect gave the officers a false name but after further conversation, the officers convinced the suspect to stop falsifying information. The suspect was cited.

200 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. The witness, a loss prevention agent, recognized a suspect with a past history of stealing from the store. Loss Prevention observed the suspect selected a jacket, enter the women’s restroom and then walked straight out of the store while still holding the jacket. Loss Prevention detained the suspect and called the police. Officers arrived and cited the suspect.
