Shoplifting – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Loss Prevention detained the suspect after he observed the suspect take a jacket from the store without paying for it. Upon arrival, the suspect gave the officers a false name. The officers determined that the suspect was a juvenile and transferred him to the Juvenile Justice Center where they were able to make an identification. The suspect’s father was contacted; the suspect was cited and released to his father.

500 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a person screaming for help. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim who said that the suspect, her boyfriend, hit her on her chest before fleeing the scene. The victim said that she got into an argument with the suspect and the suspect punched her; twice in the chest and once in the stomach. Other officers searched the area and located the suspect a couple blocks away. The suspect was later booked for domestic violence.
