Fire Report

300 Arballo Dr
Officers responded to a report of a fire.  The witness said that they smelled smoke in the building and they found that the garbage dumpster was set on fire. SF Fire Department extinguished the fire and is investigating the incident for arson.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Vicente St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with an inoperable head light. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Marijuana Offense – Traffic Violation – Arrested

700 Plymouth Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspect standing in the road, which caused bus to have to suddenly stop in order to not hit the suspect.  The officers spoke to the suspect and a computer check on the suspect revealed that there warrant for his arrest. A search of the suspect revealed marijuana in a plastic bag. The suspect was arrested for the warrant, a traffic violation and a marijuana violation.

Shoplifting – Cited

1200 19th Ave
An officer responded to a report of shoplifting. The victim told the officer that the suspect, known in the neighborhood to be frequently intoxicated, walked into the store to steal a cup of coffee and also returned to get a refill.  The officer arrested the suspect for shoplifting, trespassing and being intoxicated in public.

Stolen Vehicle – Stolen Property – Arrested
4:45 pm
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver. A computer check revealed that the registered owner of the vehicle did not match the driver of the vehicle. Officers were unable to make contact with the vehicle’s registered owner to confirm permission. The officer cited the driver and released him. Hours later, the officers learned that the vehicle they had stopped earlier was stolen and that the suspect was arrested for a different incident. The suspect was charged with stealing a vehicle and stealing property.
