Possession of Marijuana for Sale – Resisting or Delaying Officers Duty – Arrested

300 Sargent St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a known suspect with a history of selling marijuana. The officers approached the suspect and asked the suspect if he had any marijuana on him. The suspect didn’t answer but quicken his pace. The officers stopped their car and exited the vehicle, which caused the suspect to start running. Officers gave chase and the suspect tripped which caused a large bag of marijuana to fly out from the suspect’s possession and land on the ground. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Rivera St & 43rd Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle, driving in the rain, with inoperable lights. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that the driver never had a driver’s license issued to him. The driver was cited.

Assault – Threats – Arrested

19th Ave & Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim said that he was walking across the street when the suspect walked towards him and hit his arm, causing him to drop his drink. The suspect then started following the victim and made threats about killing him and his family. At one point the suspect used his umbrella and made a stabbing motion which hit the victim’s stomach. The suspect was located and arrested.

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female. The witness reported seeing an intoxicated female taking care of a young, 3-4 year old, child. Officers arrived on scene and located the female and child in question. The officers learned that the intoxicated female was taking care of her niece. The child was not injured, however, the female showed signs of intoxication. The child’s mother was contacted and the intoxicated female was cited.
