Vehicle Violation – Expired Driver’s License – Cited

Noriega St & 31st Ave
A sergeant was in the area when he observed a vehicle failing to make a complete stop at the posted stop sign. The sergeant conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had expired 14 years ago. The driver was cited.

Assault
2:15 pm
19th Ave & Judah St
An officer responded to a report of an assault. The victim said she was stopped at a red light when the suspect rear ended her. Both parties exited their vehicle and the suspect gave the victim his driver’s license which she took a photo of. When the victim asked the suspect for his insurance, the suspect told the victim that he didn’t have any. The suspect got into his vehicle to leave but the victim grabbed his door to stop the suspect. However, in doing so, the suspect got her thumb stuck in the door and was dragged a few feet before her thumb was freed. The suspect fled the scene.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victims, employees of a health club, said that the suspect wanted to cancel her membership but retain the free sessions with a personal trainer. One victim told her that if she canceled her membership, she would have 30 days to use the free sessions. The suspect got irate and began throwing various items at the victims. The suspect also picked up a chair and threw it at the victims. The officers arrived on scene and arrested the suspect.

Fire Report

100 Bucareli Dr
Officers responded to a report of a dumpster fire.  After SFFD contained the fire and put it out, they reported that they did not believe that the fire was suspicious.

Battery – Arrested

2000 23rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a couple fighting. The victim told the officers that she had an argument with the suspect over their living arrangements and about their engagement. The victim said that the suspect grabbed her wrists and threatened to hurt her. When the victim wanted to leave, the suspect wouldn’t let her go. During the interview with the victim, the suspect returned home. The suspect said that they had an argument but he did not touch her. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Violation of A court Order – Arrested

100 Inverness Dr
Officers responded to a report of a violation of a court order. The suspect had text the victim saying that he was in front of her house and that he was tired and needed some food. The victim said that she let the suspect in but after feeding the suspect, he refused to leave and wanted to go to sleep. The victim called the police to have the suspect arrested. The suspect was arrested for the violation.

Burglary – Assault

Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim said that he was on his way to meet the suspect, his ex roommate, to collect money that he was owed for their rent. However, on the way, he received a phone call from his current roommate that the suspect was actually over at the house with some people and burglarized the place. The victim saw the suspect leaving and ran into the street; the suspect attempted to hit him with his vehicle. The victim jumped onto the hood of the car in order to get out of the way and not get hit by the car. The suspect tried to get the victim off the vehicle by driving erratically and a second suspect stabbed the victim’s hand in an attempt to get the victim off the vehicle. Once the victim let go of the vehicle, the suspects then fled the scene.
