Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued

19th Ave & Denslowe Dr
Officer was conducting speed enforcement using LIDAR and clocked a vehicle traveling 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a license. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Plymouth Ave & Sagamore St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with tinted front windows and detected a strong burnt marijuana scent emanating from the vehicle. The vehicle attempted to drive off but the officers conducted a traffic stop. A computer check on the occupants revealed that one of them had a warrant for his arrest and he was arrested for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest – Probation Violation – Arrested

1000 Plymouth Ave
Officers responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance.  Officers arrived at the location and spoke to the parties involved. The officers determined that there were no laws broken. However, a computer check on the parties revealed that one of the subjects had a warrant out for his arrest and with a search condition. A search of the suspect’s room revealed that he was in possession of numerous prohibited items. He was later booked for the warrant and probation violation.

Attempted Vehicle Theft

45th Ave & Kirkham St
Officers responded to a report of an attempted carjacking. The victim said that he was stopped at a stop sign when two suspects approached his vehicle. One of the suspects approached the passenger side of the vehicle and attempted to open the door by pulling on the door handle before realizing the door was locked. The suspect said something and walked away before entering a waiting vehicle. No weapons were used or seen.

Robbery
6:30 pm
2700 San Jose Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victims said that they were walking on the sidewalk when the suspect pushed her sister to the ground and pulled her purse off of her. Afterwards, the suspect fled the scene with the purse. 

Permit Violation
12:35 pm
3300 Taraval St
Officers received information from neighbors regarding a liquor store with numerous suspicious people entering and exiting. Officers conducted a permit inspection on a liquor store and located several violations. The incident was forwarded to the Alcoholic Beverage Control department.
