Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim stated that the suspect was drinking all morning and the victim wanted to leave. The victim grabbed the car keys but the suspect took the keys back by force, knocked the victim off balance and scratched the victim’s arm in the process. The suspect refused to talk to the officers. The suspect was arrested. 

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victims stated that the suspect, their father, had been drinking all day. The suspect ended up looking for some items but noticed that they had been moved. The suspect got angry and blamed the victims for moving his items. The suspect started yelling at the victims and at one point,  struck the victims. The suspect was arrested.

Driving while intoxicated

Officers responded to a call that reported a drunk driver. Officers arrived and saw the suspected vehicle on the sidewalk with its wheels spinning and engine still revving. Officers spoke to the driver and observed that he showed signs of being intoxicated. Officers conducted a field sobriety test on the driver, which he failed. After further investigation, the driver was arrested

Robbery – Attempted

Officers responded a report of a robbery. The victim stated that he was walking on the sidewalk and talking on his phone when two suspects came up from behind him. The victim turned around and saw a firearm pointed at him. The victim got scared and was able to run to safety without being followed.

1300 46th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim, a store employee, told the officers that a suspect walked into the store and went to get some beer and ran out of the store. The victim chased after the suspect but suspect #2 was waiting outside the store and pulled out a knife before punching the victim to stop him from chasing after suspect #1. The two suspects then both ran and got into a waiting vehicle, driven by suspect #3 before they all fled the scene.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect being detained. The victim stated that he got into his vehicle and sat in the driver seat. After looking in his rear view mirror, the victim saw the suspect in the back seat of his vehicle.  The suspect exited the vehicle while holding onto some of the victim’s property. The victim also exited the vehicle and was able to detain the suspect. Upon arrival, the officers ran a computer check on the suspect which revealed a warrant for his arrest.  The suspect was arrested.
