Officers responded to a report of an auto boosting in progress. Officers arrived on scene and observed the suspect still inside the vehicle with a plastic bag on the ground filled with items from the victim’s vehicle. The victim told the officers that he had returned home and went to retrieve some items out of his vehicle but saw someone inside his vehicle. The victim called the police and detained the suspect. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he was on probation for breaking into vehicles. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter being detained by security. The witness, an employee, told the officers that the suspect walked into the store and started looking around at the merchandise but was acting very nervous. The suspect then selected an item and placed into his bag before walking out of the store. Officers searched the suspect and found that the suspect’s backpack was lined to defeat the store’s sensors. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a phone theft. The victim told the officers that he was sitting on the bench by the bus stop and playing a game on his phone when the suspect approached him by behind and stole his phone.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. The victims, lost prevention agents, told the officers that the suspect selected a purse and concealed it. The suspect then selected several other items and walked out of the store. Lost prevent agents attempted to stop the suspect, but the suspect pushed the lost prevention agents and attempted to punch them. The suspect then evaded the lost prevention agents and fled the scene.
