Battery – Arrested

2000 Ulloa St
Officers responded to a report of a domestic incident. The victim stated that he had an argument with the suspect and the suspect kicked his leg. The suspect, in return, stated that the victim had been verbally abusing her and shutting the door in her face. The suspect admitted that she may have kicked him on his shins. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Assault – Arrested

300 Vernon St
Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident by an anonymous witness. The witness reported that he saw the suspect beating up a victim. Officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect. The suspect told the officers that the he and the victim had an argument over laundry. The suspect wanted to fold his own laundry, which made the victim angry. The suspect didn’t want to argue further and was about to leave when he felt a tug on his sleeve. The suspect said that he extended his arm out, without turning around, and hit the victim. The victim was later located, but refused to comply and refused to give any  information. After further investigation and lack of cooperation from the victim, the suspect was arrested.

Marijuana Offense – Cited

Officers were on patrol when they were flagged down by a local resident regarding four suspects smoking marijuana inside a vehicle nearby. Officers made contact the suspects. One of the passengers admitted having a marijuana “joint” in the side pocket of the door and the occupants agreed to have a search of their person and property. There were more marijuana located on the driver, but the driver had a medical marijuana card. The passenger was cited and the driver admonished.

Robbery
7:20 pm
700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. The victim, an employee, told the officers that the suspect had ordered food from the deli section and attempted to leave without paying for it. The employee tried to stop the suspect, but the suspect threatened to “shoot him”. The employee was afraid and let the suspect leave.

Driving while under the Influence of Alcohol – Suspended License – Arrested

Dewey Blvd & Pacheco St
Officers were on patrol when they noticed a vehicle making a turn against a red arrow signal. The officers conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver. The driver showed obvious signs of intoxication and  the officers attempted to give the driver a field sobriety test. However, the driver was not able to stand on his own but agreed to a blood test. A computer check on the driver also revealed his license had been suspended. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.
