Robbery

Noriega St & 42nd Ave
The victim came to Taraval Station to report a robbery. The victim stated that he was walking in the neighborhood the a group of people, walking in the opposite direction, passed him.  While they were passing by, one of the suspects suddenly punched him in the head and another suspect grabbed his jacket and cell phone. After stealing his items, the group fled the area.

Kirkham St & 19th Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making an illegal left turn. Officers conducted a traffic stop and  computer check on the driver revealed he was on probation with a search condition. The officers ordered the driver out of the vehicle which caused the vehicle’s passenger to suddenly exit the vehicle and immediately flee from the scene.   The driver was searched and cited. 

Additional officers arrived and located the fleeing passenger. After investigating, the officers located an identification card with the passenger’s picture but it was printed with a different name.  A computer check on the passenger revealed his identity and also that he had two warrants for his arrest. The passenger was arrested.

An officer responded to a report of a suspect acting aggressively. The officer recognized the suspect, who had a history of frequently being intoxicated and often causing problems. The officer detained the suspect, which caused the suspect to become verbally abusive and aggressive towards the officer as well as threatening to kill the officer. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had an active warrant for his arrest and a search located a drug paraphernalia and marijuana in his possession. The suspect was arrested.

Officer responded to a report of a fight at a school. Officers learned that two suspect had been bulling, both verbally and physically, the victim since the beginning of the school year. Officers were provided video of the incident captured by other classmates and the victim father wanted to press charges. The two students was cited and released to the juvenile Community Assessment and Referral Center.

Officers and sergeants executed a search warrant on a suspect that was involved in a burglary incident. The suspect was located and evidence was found that may link him to the burglaries. The suspect also had an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

West Portal & Ulloa St
A sergeant was on patrol when he observed a vehicle that was missing a front license plate. The suspect noticed the sergeant and attempted to flee. When the sergeant caught up to the vehicle, it was parked and the three occupants were trying to walk away. The sergeant, along with several other responding officer detained the suspects. A computer check on the occupants in the vehicle revealed that two of them had warrants out for their arrest. Those two suspects were arrested.
