Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of someone acting suspiciously. Responding officers located the suspect, who was on the ground with a bicycle on top of him and talking to himself.  Next to the suspect was a laptop computer which the suspect said he had found. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he has a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Warrant Arrest – Under the Influence – Arrested

Officers assisted a sergeant with an intoxicated suspect, who was sprawled on the sidewalk. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – Expired Driver’s License – Cited

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making a turn against a double solid, yellow line. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had expired. The driver was cited.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim said that he was asleep in bed when his roommate came home and began making a racket. The victim said that he texted the suspect to quiet down. The suspect texted back and started arguing through text messages so the victim went to the suspect door to tell him to quiet down instead. The suspect opened the door and they started fighting. During the fight, the suspect grabbed a chair and started hitting the victim over the head with it. The victim got out and called the police. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Warrant Arrest – Reckless Driving – Arrested

Sergeants were on patrol when they observed a vehicle driving suspiciously in front of them. A computer check on the vehicle’s license number revealed that the license plate actually belonged to another vehicle. While the officers were running the computer check, the suspect started driving faster to evade the officers.  The sergeants did not pursue the suspect due the reckless driving but after a few blocks, the suspect’s vehicle hit another vehicle. The suspect attempted to flee the scene of the accident but were located and apprehended by the sergeants.  A computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.
