False Vehicle Registration – Suspended Drivers License – Drug Offense – Arrested

Sergeants were on patrol and randomly picked a vehicle directly in front of them to run a computer check on the license. The check revealed that the last time the vehicle was registered was actually back in 2013. However, the vehicle was displaying a current valid registration sticker for 2016. The sergeants conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his driver’s license had been suspended.  The sergeants also conducted an arrest search and located cocaine rocks inside the suspect’s socks. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim, a taxi driver, said that he had picked up the suspect but  suspect fell asleep during the ride. When they arrived at the requested location, the victim woke the suspect up and told him the amount that was owed. The suspect told the victim that he did not have any money, pushed the driver and struck him a few times on the chest. The suspect also kicked the vehicle and caused damages before fleeing the scene. A witness was in the area and followed the suspect and reported to the officers. The suspect was located and cited.

Burglary – Burglary Tools – Possession of Stolen Property – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a burglary.  The witness stated that she was standing by the corner of the street when she noticed the suspect using a stick to reach in under the gates to steal packages. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect matching the description given and the stick used to steal packages. A search of the suspect revealed numerous mails that did not belong to the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that she had just gotten off the MUNI bus and was walking home. The victim said that she was about to unlock her door when the suspect pulled her back, grabbed her purse and fled to a waiting vehicle. The victim said that she did not hear the suspect because she had earphones on and was listening to music.
