Methamphetamine Offense – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Great Hwy & Taraval St
Officers were on patrol when officers observed a person rummaging through the cabin of a truck. Due to the numerous vehicle break ins this year, officers approached the truck to investigate. The suspect told the officers that he was rummaging in the vehicle, which belonged to his friend.  There was also a suspicious vial containing crystal like substance, which was later confirmed to be methamphetamine. A computer check revealed two arrest warrants for the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Taraval St & 19th Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle making a left turn at an intersection where left turns were prohibited.   Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed her license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

2600 Quintara St
Officers assisted with an outside investigation. Officers located the suspect and a computer check on the suspect revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Assault
3:39 am
1300 46th Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim said she was getting in her vehicle when she noticed the suspect staring at her. The victim continued to get into her vehicle when the suspect took out a can of pepper spray and discharged it at the victim. The stream missed the victim, but the victim did get some in her eyes. The suspect fled the scene.

Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim and a witness stated that the suspect came over to pick her and the children. However, there was an argument and the suspect slapped the victim before throwing a wooden basket at her.  Officers located the suspect who appeared to be intoxicated. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
