Shoplifting – Cited

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Loss Prevention agent stated that he observed the suspect select multiple, random items from the store before he entered the fitting room. While in the fitting room, the noise of price tags being heard taken off of the clothes was heard.  The suspect then exited the fitting room and returned a smaller selection of items than he originally went in with and neglected to return the rest of the items. Officers investigated the incident and cited the suspect.

Shoplifting – Cited

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter. Loss Prevention told the officers that he noticed the suspect acting nervous while in the store. The suspect looked around and selected multiple computer items before placing them in her purse. The suspect then exited the store without paying for any of the items.  Loss Prevention detained the suspect and responding officers invested the incident before citing the suspect.

Randolph St & Bright St
Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspect walking down the street while holding an open bottle of beer. Officers detained the suspect and asked him for his identity. The suspect exhibited signs of intoxication and began yelling and became aggressive. The suspect’s father attempted to calm the suspect down but that only caused the suspect to become more irate and he pushed his father away. The officers placed the suspect in handcuffs and confirmed his identity with his family members. A computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrest on multiple charges.

Shoplifting – Cited

700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter in which Security was currently chasing after the suspect. Responding officers arrived and located two suspects. Security told the officers that he observed the two suspects steal alcohol and food before exiting the store. Security attempted to stop the suspects, but they managed to flee the scene. Officers conducted an investigation and determined that the suspects were juveniles. The juvenile’s parents were contacted and both suspects were cited.

Assault with a Gun

Head St & Sergeant St
Multiple officers responded to a report of someone being shot. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim with a shot wound, which was not life threatening. The Witness stated that the suspect, with their face covered with a mask,  approached the victim after exiting a vehicle. The Witness stated that they observed the suspect approached the victim, before running back to the waiting vehicle before fleeing. However, the Witness did not remember seeing a gun.

Assault – Parole Violation – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a suspect locking himself in the laundry room. A witness told the officers that the suspect was running across the street before diving under her vehicle. The suspect was heard saying that “someone” was after him and trying to kill him. Then, the suspect went into the laundry room of the building and locked himself inside. Officers managed to convince the suspect to eventually unlock the door and leave the laundry room but he did not believe that the officers were real police. However, the suspect confided to the officers that he had taken some “speed”.  During the ambulance ride to the hospital, the suspect began fighting with the medics and pushed one of the medics completely out of the ambulance while it was stopped. The suspect was later sedated and finally taken to the hospital. Once the suspect has been cleared by medical staff, he will be arrested.
