“Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”
On March 2, 2016, Taraval Station participated the neighborhood’s Read Across America event. This event is also known as Dr. Seuss Day, as it falls on his birthday, and hopes to encourage “every child in every community” to celebrate reading!
Volunteer and Officers shared their love of books with students by reading out loud from their own favorite childhood stories. Sgt Mannix picked “Officer Buckle and Gloria” by Peggy Rathmann.
