Threats – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a known suspect violating a court stay away order at a Starbucks. The suspect’s behavior was reported as belligerent and violent. Responding Officers smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his body and breath. The suspect also appeared intoxicated and displayed several objective symptoms of a person who was under the influence of alcohol. Based on the violation of the stay away order, officers placed the suspect under arrest. While conducting a pat search, the officer located two open bottles of alcohol that are in violation. When the officer told the suspect he was under arrest, the suspect retorted with verbal threats against the officer. The suspect was booked on the above listed charges.
Trespassing – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser in an apartment building. Upon entry, the officers conducted a search of the building. The officers located the suspect on the stairwell between the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. The officers made contact with the suspect and questioned his whereabouts. The suspect was later identified by his SF Jail Bracelet. The suspect stated that he was visiting a “friend” in the building. After another officer failed to locate the friend, the suspect changed his story. The officers were then told that he gained entry to the building through the front door. The officers located a clear glass pipe that had white residue and it was hypothesized that the pipe was used to inhale illegal narcotics. After further investigation, a tenant of the building stated that she did not know the suspect and the neighbors of the tenant also stated that they did not know the suspect. The suspect was arrested for trespassing.
